2023 Ford Ranger Raptor

The upcoming Ranger Raptor is an all-new version of Ford’s midsize truck. Much like the F-150 Raptor, the new Ranger Raptor is built for rugged off-roading. It comes standard with everything you need to really hit the dirt in earnest. Unlike the F-150 Raptor, though, the Ranger Raptor will come at a much friendlier price (starting around $44,500).

Indeed it will! Unlike other Ranger trim models, which derive their power from a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the Ranger Raptor finally delivers the V6 power that Ford enthusiasts have long wanted from this midsize truck. And it’s not just any V6 under the hood, but a twin-turbocharged V6 that’s good for a whopping 392 horsepower!

Since it’s built for off-road cruising, the Ranger Raptor will also pack a wide range of performance features. For starters, it will include standard four-wheel drive. Front and rear locking differentials give you the power to maintain traction, no matter how soft or slippery the trail. This pickup will also come with extra ride height and off-road-ready suspension.

We’re not completely sure what we’ll find inside the U.S. version of the Ranger Raptor. However, both the European version of this off-road-ready midsize truck and the bigger F-150 Raptor are on the luxurious side. That probably means you can expect to see some of the same features in our version of the Ranger Raptor, including microsuede seating trim and nicely bolstered front seats. The European version of this truck features red trim and aluminum paddle shifters. Upscale comfort features — like dual-zone automatic climate control and heated front seats — mean impressive comfort. And tech features, like remote start and smartphone-friendly infotainment, offer everyday conveniences.
