2024 Ford Bronco Sport Preview

• Rumors of the hybrid powertrain to make the Sport more fuel efficient.

• Lots of room for growth over the coming years, as the Sport is still in its first generation.

The Bronco Sport is a great car because it does a little what the Bronco does with the added utility of a daily driver. Now, while this Sport doesn’t do off-roading as effectively as the Bronco, it’s mainly for light adventures. But the plausibility is vast as it specialized in different driving environments including daily use. We can expect to see this trend continue into next year, particularly with the swirling rumor that the Sport will feature a hybrid powertrain option. Given the types of power trains the current Sport shares with other SUVs, we can expect around 200 horsepower on average with next year’s model.

No official updates on what these changes mean, but we can expect some minor styling changes. Nothing too great because of how relatively new the Sport is given its lifespan so far. The Bronco Sport is the smaller, and most well-suited for everyday drives when compared to the Bronco. It is the smaller of the two cars after all. So, we might expect to see more packages and features that not just focus on off-roading but added comfort, safety, and handling when driving on the highway or in the city.
